Saw Mill River Road Reconstruction
- Yonkers, NY
This public works contract for the Saw Mill River Road Improvement Project spanned approximately 1.25 miles from Ashburton Avenue to Richmond Place in Yonkers. The project was approved by the Yonkers Board of Contract and Supply on July 30, 2008, for approximately $5.4 million. Our work included the replacement and rehabilitation of the existing drainage system, water valves from 16 to 30 inches in diameter, curbs, sidewalks, and fire hydrants. New traffic signals were installed, and the existing section of roadway was milled and resurfaced. An additional $214,000 was approved due to scope additions that were necessary to safely complete the water main valve replacement work.
